Three-day seminar held in Ecka

During the past weekend The Atlantic Council of Serbia has organized a three day seminar ‘’Euro-Atlantic integration: Through the eyes of the Serbian media – myths vs facts’’ in Kastel Ecka. The project was supported by NATO Public Diplomacy Division and the US Embassy in Belgrade.

Thirty students and young journalists took part in the series of workshops and lectures on several topics, including freedom of press and challenges of contemporary journalism, media ethics and objective reporting, the process of reporting on Euro-Atlantic integration in Serbia and the region, as well as Serbia-NATO relations and position of Serbia in the current constellation of Great Powers.

The participants were addressed by distinguished journalists, including Slaviša Lekić, Zoran Sekulić, Zoran Panović, Milivoje Mihajlović, Violeta Cvejić, military analyst Aleksandar Radić, as well as professors dr Milan St. Protić and dr Vanja Rokvić.

These activities are the second part of the project of the same name and the continuation of workshops held in Belgrade on the 25th of May 2017.
