Report from public tribune in Novi Sad

After visiting Sombor, the current project of the Atlantic Council of Serbiasupported by the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade with the topic ”Living in Serbia: Opportunities and Challenges”  continues with the visit to Novi Sad. The tribune was held on Monday 05.05 2014., with great support of the University of Novi Sad.

On behalf of the University of Novi Sad words of welcome greeted by Prof. Dr. Miroslav Veskovic.

The forum was attended by representatives of Megatrend University- 

 Deputy Rector Professor Vladan KutlešićEmeritus Professor Mijat Damjanovic ,Ph.D. Mrvić Natasa Petrovic and recent policy Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Canada Vladimir Pavlov.

 Very large audience showed a great interest in lectures by eminent professors and did not hesitate to ask numerous questions, what made this forum very dynamic and above all, very educational.

Also, the respectable media house Ninamedia from Novi Sad, undertook a public research study, with the topic: What is the attitude of the citizens of Serbia towards "western values." Research results are presented which have caused a lot of attention.

The Atlantic Council of Serbia team continues next week with their stands, which will be in addition to Sombor and Novi Sadstill held in VrsacPozarevacZajecar and Belgrade.
